One day after school Rory show's up at Rory's work and see's her at one of her employee's cubicle's and Rory look's up
''Hey babe how was your day?'' Rory asks her
''good looks of homework and studying and catching up on my reading to do.'' her daughter tell's her
''okay.'' Rory says
''so I'm just going to go to one of the empty cubicle's and start my homework.'' she tell's Rory
''okay wait are you hungry first do you want something out of one of the vending machines or a soda or ice cream or something?'' Rory asks her
''maybe in a little bit.'' her daughter tell's her
''ok hun just let me know when you want something.'' Rory tell's her
''I will.'' her daughter says and goes to start her homework at an empty office cubicle space.
Jess comes over''hey here.'' he says and hand's Rory a folder full of stuff
''whats all this?'' she asks him
''articles for you to edit and approve for our next issue.'' he tell's her
''oh wonderful.'' she says sarcastically
''hey kido.'' he says
''hey dad'' his daughter says
''how was school?'' he asks her
''fine.'' she tell's him
''so sweetie what are we doing for dinner tonight?'' he asks Rory
''going to my Mom's.'' she tell's him
''oh great!'' he says and kisses her cheek ''I love you.'' he tell's her
''love you too.'' she tell's him
Jess goes back to his office to get back to work.
Rory just continue's watching her daughter do her homework before going back to her office to work.
