"I'm sorry." Annie whispers gently down to the corpse, lifeless eyes stare unseeing towards the sky. The blonde hair blue eyed young woman simply gazed down, "I am sorry."
At last she moves, turning her body away from the dead girl who not long ago was laughing and joking at her side; the body of her friend had long turned cold, her natural pale face had become a sickeningly grey.
"Please forgive me." Annie mumbles softly, she harden her heart more to the reality of what needed to be done. Her blue eyes dulled to become almost as empty as the eyes of her fallen companion, cutting herself off from her raging emotions had was flowing through her.
With all her strength she forced herself to walk forward and away from soulless rotten human, it was not her friend any more.
Her friend would never return.
"Forgive me." Annie utter these words from her dry lips, however this time they held no feelings.
