Do you still remember me
My dear?
Do you still remember that night?
Do you still picture me
My dear?
My soul alive and bright?
As I walked through tree and brush
My dear
In my last moments of life
Can you still see me waiting
My dear
Before that endless knife?
I waited quite a while
My dear
And my hope was 'bout to fade
When you finally arrived
My dear
In hand, a hefty blade
You took away my life
My dear
I hope that much you see
I remember you quite well
