AN: Hiya, wow its been positively months since I've written, I've missed it! Disclaimer time: I don't own the song 'you are my sunshine' by Johnny cash. I also don't own any of Rick's characters.
Will rolled over and came face to face with a sleeping Nico. It wasn't uncommon for Will to sneak into the hades cabin and cuddle with Nico all night, what was unusual was for him to find Nico still so close to him after the entire night. Nico moved a lot when he slept so by morning, Will would have Nico's feet in face.
Rubbing the sleep from his eyes he roused himself and peered at the clock, 10:00am, they'd overslept. As head councillor of the Apollo cabin, Will had a reputation to maintain, so he leapt to his feet and struggled into his clothing. Nico somehow managed to sleep solidly through it all even though Will was something like a bull in a china shop when it came to getting dressed quickly.
Tiptoeing over to the bed he gently shook Nico. Nico moaned and rolled over but didn't wake.
"Nico, time to get up my love." Will whispered shaking more vigorously. Nico batted Will away but otherwise ignored him. Releasing that this wasn't going to work Will filled his lungs with air and bellowed.
"you are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are gre-"
He was abruptly cut off as Nico wacked him in the face with a pillow and mumbled "go away Will." Will smirked.
"Its 10:00am. you need to get up." Will announced and then he sauntered away.
