You'll Be The Princess
Finishing another book
Li Xu slammed the book shut.
She love reading but..
She already finished all the books in the shelves, and getting bored all day along at home.
She haven't gone much outside
since she was a child.
She always wonder how big the world is and what kind of fun things she can do.
She laid her hands in the window
It was the same view as usual..
She sigh..
"I want to go outside..
The weather is nice, it would be fun to go outside.." She said.
As she gaze outside the window, she noticed a carriage stop in front of the house.
"Oh.. Seems like we have a guest.." Li Xu said
After a few minutes, she heard a sound of footsteps drawing near,
Then then door suddenly flew open.
A man wearing an armor appeared in front of her.
In an instant she was captivated by his flaming red eyes, the color reminded her a schorching flame,
His feautured look refined, his body was well built. Its her first time seeing a man other than her father.
"You.." The man said.
"w-what?" Li Xu ask
He confidently walked right up to her
("Whoa.. So tall" she thought)
"You'll be the Princess" He said.
"W-what? A princess?" Li Xu ask
"This isn't the time to explain, you'll know the whole story after you go to the castle." The man said.
"To the castle?" She ask again
The man grabbed her arm, Li Xu only stared blankly at him.
"Come on" The man said dragging her outside.
"Um.. P-please wait!, i can't leave! You can't just take me anywhere!"
She protest, but the man won't listen to her. He disregarded everything she said and continue to drag her outside.
Outside, her father was waiting
"Li Xu .. " her father said.
"Father! What's the meaning of this? Who is this man?" Li Xu ask.
"You'll understand when you get there. This is your destiny." Her father said.
After that she was dragged to the carriage, inside the carriage a black curtain prevented her from seeing anything outside.
"I've been longing to see the world outside and yet it's nothing.
I don't know what's going on right now.." she said
The man with the flaming red eyes was just sitting quietly across her.
("I'll try asking him" she thought)
"Um.. Why was i summoned to the castle? And why did you say that I'll be the princess?" Li Xu ask
"I can't answer either of those question, so shut up and stay put." The man said
"So what is your name?" She ask again
"My name?" The man said
"Yes, you must have a name, that one question you can answer for me right?" She said.
He looked at her with curiosity
("Have i said anything strange?" She thought)
"Alis Leofwin" the man said
"Alis .. Leofwin?" Li Xu said
"Just call me Alis" he said
"Alright. So Alis is it, I'm Li Xu nice to meet you"
I gave a slight bow while introducing myself.
Alis : "do you always introduce yourself like that? You're a weird one"
A faint smile appeared on his lips as he said that.
("He might actually be a nice person" she thought)
After a long journey, the carriage came to halt at last.
Alis: "we're here"
