A Jedi does not crave excitement. A Jedi does not crave adventure. A Jedi craves peace. The Force alone knows how many times Master has lectured me on this. But I can't help it. Ever since we destroyed the Trade Federation there has been no excitement. Oh sure, training was fun at first. But in all honesty, it gets boring fast. And all our missions were just Master Obi-Wan negotiating and me standing around watching. Except for that time we went into aggressive negotiations. I know that sounded like a dark thought, but just talking is boring. And hey, at least I got to try out what I learned.
This mission was no different. A border dispute settled in words. I will go crazy if I have to do that once more. Oh Force, send me excitement. Send me places where I can use my lightsaber skills. Send me… Padme.
