Author's Note: I must admit, I've never been a fan of anime/manga, but I AM a fan of video games, romance and horror, thus leading to an unhealthy obsession with Doki Doki Literature Club. I didn't want to commit to any full scale prose fanfics just yet, however writing love poetry was of course especially appropriate for this fandom.
The first poem is a sonnet, about Yuri (despite her rather morbid knife episode she was my fave character). Please RR!

Entry 1: Yuri
In spells of silence eyes will look to you
Though not for fumbled words or stolen look,
It's merely for the wonder that such true
And striking beauty lives outside a book,
Your softening features, vivid hair and eyes,
A purple gleam that dulls the shine of jewels,
And though this world be full of choice and lies
Your beauty is a truth, lest I be fooled.
But if you be a fiction then content
I'd be, as you, to live a life confined
To words on pages. You are heaven-sent,
And when we met I know that stars alligned.
Till now I'd thought love fiction writ by pen,
But with you here I'll never doubt again.
I know it's a little cheesy, but I still enjoyed wrting it. I'd love to hear what you thought!
