If only you loved me.

If only you cared.

If only you'd see me,

Acknowledge I'm there.

I wish I could tell you

My hate is a lie.

I wish you could love me.

I wish you would try.

Dreams are for sleeping.

You're mine in my head.

Wishes are pointless

And fill you with dread.

I wish you would smile

And smile for me.

The feelings I have,

I wish you could see.

To you I'm a rival,

I can't be your friend.

But if you'd just look

You'd see that I can.
