Chapter 1: "lex stark" (short intro Ch.)
(The generation of Percy Jackson has passed, thus bringing a new generation of demigods. This story place in 2070 after the giant war in Heroes of Olympus. You will see that technology has merely changed in the mortal world. Also I came with the idea for this story just before Mark of Athena came out so you may find things wont match up as in who's still living and not. Enjoy!)
Lex Stark. The name of what most people saw him as a troubled ADHD, Dyslexic, 13 year old, and that's exactly what Lex thought of himself until what he thought was going to be regular Tuesday at his private school in downtown Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Lex didn't live with his parents like most kids. He had been in the Foster Care system for as long as he could remember. He had lived with his mother a short time after birth but she passed away of colon cancer she had been fighting since before Lex was born. His father seemed to had vanished into thin air, as though he never existed. He was not present for Lex's birth, therefore unable to sign his name on Lex's birth certificate. Lex had no recollection of his mother, leaving him with a lot of curiosity about her.
Lex had been to 3 foster homes in his life all of which he hated. Especially his current one. He lived in a decent sized house with two floors and 4 bedrooms, Lex actually enjoyed the size of the house since his past two foster homes had been apartments. Unfortunately to Lex the house was no matter to him with his foster parents under the roof. He absolutely despised his foster parents. He had lived them for the past 3 years. They were the foulest most utterly harsh and uncaring people Lex was ever cursed to stumble upon. They were nearly never home until midnight and sometimes left Lex for weekends at a time.
Lex's only retreat to somewhat of happiness was school. Although Lex couldn't have ever imagined what was going to happen on Tuesday, January 15, which was the day that changed his life forever.
