The girl strode through the elderly forest. Checking that the sings where clear often, she ran. She finally stopped for a breathing. She was gasping for oxygen. Then, BOOM! She herd it again. She ran again afraid that she was being hunted still. By that most ugly shade. I mean, yuck! Shades are still, always ugly, but this one was double the ugly. She ran on, BOOM! She shook her head if she kept on running like this she'd die of running so long. BOOM!
She longed to sit and rest. But at this time she needed to run or she'd be this shades prey.
she thought to herself. Her eyelids were sagging down, but she had to stay awake. There was a pond nearby, she knew this because this was the part she hunted in. The shade would never expect it. Then a brewing wind went south. She was running to the north. She knew the shade would pick up her scent in a few seconds. Wait for it... she heard a menacing shriek of triumph. That, she guessed, would be the shade. Her feet could not take this torment any longer, she fell to the ground. And the lake, or pond, was just a few minuets longer off. her breathing was deep and shallow. Then she decided to crawl to the water thing.
It seemed like an eternity when she reached the creek. She smiled weekly, then crawled in. It was deathening cold water in the creek. But that was because it was like three in the morning.
gosh you go for a stroll in the woods, you glance at a weird guy and you get this for the glance. What a day.
She saw the shade from above water. He was yelling into the air. She assumed that he calling her. Then out of the uttermost unlucky he looked into the water. He grinned, and reached into the water. She almost died right there and then. He dragged her out, tied her up and tossed her to the side.
" Your not going anywhere." he said reading her thoughts. She frowned, what would her parents say about this. Well, first, they'd laugh their heads off. Then they would lecture her, like always. And last but not leapt, trust me, the would try and help her. oh she wished they could be here. Tears leaked from her eyes. her parents... whom she might never see again. The shade looked sad, then said with much thought, "If I give you a premises and let you wander will you not leave. I will know if you go farther than my premises. I have ways."
Well has not the smartest of all shades. Actually I think he'd win worlds stupidest shade award. But I will go for it and then run of, nah, skip of.
" Fine. Just get this scratchy binding of." She ground. He grinned and cracked up.
"You really thought I was letting you go!? a shade like me is not so easily stupid, like you think." Her mouth dropped open. This shade was reading her mind! She had heard of a magical being called a Dragon Writer. Or was it Dragon Rider. Anyways he could block minds from entering his just by building a wall in his head. She gave a wacky at it. she imagined that there was a study metal wall protecting her from the shade. The Shade was thrown to the ground. It had worked.
"Danshia!" he yelled, holding up his palm. A black bolt of energy came out of it and came directly toward her. She fell asleep instantly. the shade then tended to his injuries.
