Spirit waits for Azusa outside of the bathroom of the DWMA. She had been feeling sick for a few days. She had said it must just be an allergy or maybe some of the food she had been eating, so she decided to not say anything.
"Feeling any better?" he asks as she walks out. She nods. He places a kiss onto her forehead. "That's good. But if you do feel like you need to go home, you should," he says.
"I'll be fine. You shouldn't worry about me so much."
He pulls her into a hug. "I can't help it. I love you."
She smiles. "I love you too, Spirit. But there is no need to worry. I'll be fine."
He gives her a kiss on her cheek. "Anyway," he says. "We should go see Lord Death. He wants me to go and give something to Stein, rather then call him out of the creasent moon class."
She nods. "Spirit, isn't that your daughter's class? I know that she knows nothing about us yet. You sure you want me in there with you?"
He gives her a smile. "It'll be fine. Besides, her mother and I have been divorced for a while now. She must have known I'd find someone."
She smiles. "I guess your right. I mean, you're still young and lots of people our age have never even been married before."
He smiles, kissing her on the lips. Her face turns red and he lets out a light laugh. "I love it when you blush," he tells her, which only gets her to turn a darker shade of red. "Anyway," he says. "We should get going to the death room."
She nods. They walk to the death room. There waiting is Lord Death.
"Hello! Hello! Spirit! Azusa! It's good to see ya! "
"Hello Lord Death, sir," says Azusa.
"Hello Lord Death," says Spirit.
"Well, I see you two are going to have your hands full!"
They both look at him, confused."Oh, never mind that," he tells them."You had something for Stein?" asks Spirit.
"Yes." Lord Death gets out a package. "Here it is."
Spirit takes the package. "Alright, I'll get this to him right away, sir."
"Alrighty then," says Lord Death. "Dismissed."
They head over to Stein's class, walking side by side, holding hands. Once they get to the door of his class, Spirit opens it.
They see Stein doing another one of his dissections. Just the smell makes Azusa want to throw up her breakfast from this morning. She tries to ignore it. Spirit can see she looks a little sick, so he puts a hand on her shoulder.
"Lord Death has a package for me?" asks Stein. Spirit hands the package to him. Stein opens it. "It's the new medical equipment I ordered."
Spirit has to control himself not to run out of the room screaming, seeing his Meister with his new dissection tools.
Azusa looked around. "So, Stein. Where is Marie? Isn't she helping you?"
"Yes, but I think she got lost again. It's a good thing I put a tracker on her," he says.
Spirit and Azusa shake their heads at that.
Meanwhile, Maka is up in the stands not paying attention as the three adults talk. She MakaChops Soul as he falls asleep during the time they need to study for an important test which miesters and their weapons must work together on.
Stein goes back to his dissection. Spirit and Azusa watch him as he desides to start using his new tools. Azusa grabs Spirit's hand, apparently having enough of the smell.
"Azusa," says Stein. Azusa turns to him, as well as Spirit. "Congratulations to you and Spirit on the baby." He says those words with a smirk.
The entire room freezes. Maka looks as though she is ready to kill someone, that someone being her father.
"What are you talking about?" asks Azusa.
"I see the soul," says Stein. "You're pregnant."
They all look up as Maka chops a random student out of shock and anger, discovering the news that she will be having a half brother or sister, as well as that her father has a new girlfriend.
Spirit looks terrified of Maka, now. Azusa places a hand to her stomach, still shocked.
