A/N Another drabble for the ultimate challege...yay! Don't own them, wish I did...Just enjoy G/J fluffiness
She could remember their first kiss, the kiss that had begun it all. It had stared off innocent enough. They cuddled so often on his couch with no thoughts of anything romantic in mind, just sitting there, sipping scotch, curled against one another. She couldn't remember what she had said to get him to do it, but he had bent forward to give her a peck on the cheek-one that she hadn't expected. She had turned her head to say something and suddenly her lips were meeting his.
It was electric. She hadn't remembered a kiss like that in a long time-the hair on her neck had stood up and her whole body felt like it had been hit with a stun gun. When he pulled back she could see the same look on his face. There had been a second long pause as the two of them just stared at each other before she leaned forward, capturing his lips again with her own.
It took him a stunned second to respond, he had just sat there for what seemed like a full minute before leaning forward, into the kiss, tangling a hand into her hair, parting her lips with his tongue. It felt so good, so right, so natural, as if she was made to be there. The world melted away around her, the only thing that she could think about was the feeling of strong lips against hers, the taste of him, good scotch and that tang that was just him, the feeling of her soul being sucked straight out of her body.
It had taken them forever to break the kiss, leaving them breathless. She had looked up at him, meeting his eyes. "Jordan-" She could hear the confusion in his voice. He wanted it, but didn't. She just snuggled closer to him.
"Garret-" She replied.
"I don't think that's such a good idea." He said as she toyed with the buttons of his shirt, and she smiled as his Adam's apple bobbed up and down in reaction to what she was doing.
"Why not?" She said as she slid the first button free.
"I don't think we should be starting, well, this-" He tried to shift out of her reach but he was stopped by the arm of the couch.
"Garret, we're both adults here. You can't say that you didn't feel it too-" She had pulled back nonetheless and he looked down at the floor.
"Jordan, do you really want this?" He asked as he turned to face her and she nodded.
"We already bicker like a couple who's been together forever-we might as well be together, we've got everything else in a relationship except for the sex-" She grinned at the reaction that the one word had on him.
"Well-" He started and she grinned. She leaned up and kissed him again, this one soft, gentle, exploratory. This time there wasn't the stunned shock on his side, he reacted right from the second her lips met his.
"I'm thinking this could be the start of something wonderful." She said, before leaning back in and deepening the kiss, feeling him grin beneath her lips.
