Dream Link- Darkside

"I'm in" I said as I entered the dream link. A dream link is a mental connection between two or more people through a dream state.

"Took you long enough" Jeffrey said, "Your grandma made you wash dishes again?"

I chuckled. "Yeah. But tomorrow's Friday, so I'll have company over. No dishes for me!"

"Nice, Let me guess; Andrew and Joseph?"

"Exactly. I'm gonna teach them how to Dream Link also. I know Andrew's gonna like it, but Im not so sure about Joey…"

Jeff crossed his arms. "Meh, I think he'd enjoy it. Anyway lets get this started already. I don't have all night."

"Well, what do you want to do? Duel, Boss Battle, Endless-horde-of-monsters-fight-till-you-can't-fight-no-more?"

Jeffrey laughed. "I think we might want to save that last one for the weekend. Lets do a boss battle."

"Okay, choose your weapon"

Jeffrey thought for maybe 10 seconds then summoned a jet black gothic keyblade from kingdom hearts. "Hey Jess, you familiar with oblivion?"

"Yeah, I know what oblivion is, and since you're getting a keyblade, I'll get one too. Kingdom Key it is then."

Jeff's eyes lit up. "Aww Yeahh! Let's fight a darkside."

I frowned. "Uh, I don't know, do you think we can take something like that?"

Jeffrey swung Oblivion around, getting the feel of the keyblade. "Well, it's worth a shot. We'll never find out if we don't try."

I readied my weapon. "then let's do this."

Suddenly we were on stained glass, showing all the things that were important to me and Jeff. On the other end, a huge heartless with massive arms and a heart-shaped hole emerged from the shadows. Jeff jumped backwards.

"Hey man, what are you doing?"

"I'll chain magic while you take him out with combos."

I nodded and dashed after it. Upon seeing me, the darkside dropped his huge fist, trying to crush me under it. I dodged, then jumped and slashed it in the shoulder. In reaction, the Darkside then summoned a few shadows to come after me. I quickly took them out, but I didn't see his giant fist come hurling down towards me. Before it connected, a Massive fireball erupted in the darkside's face, sending it sprawling backwards.

"Booyah! Take that you stupid Heartless!"

"Uhh, Jeff I think you got it angry…"

The darkside barreled past me and shot towards Jeffrey. It picked him up and slammed him into the ground 6 or 7 times into the glass panels, causing them to crack underneath the assault. The Darkside then raised it's fist, preparing to pound Jeff into nothingness. Realizing what was happening; I sprinted towards Jeff and blocked the attack. The force of it was so strong, my keyblade rammed into my chest, breaking my ribs, but my defense against the attack knocked him back to the other side of the glass.

"Ah crap… Jeff, you gotta get up. I cant take another attack like that." Jeff managed to pick himself of the ground.

"Well what are we going to do now?"

"I got an idea. Thunderaga my keyblade."

"What?! Why?"

"Just do it, Jeff"

"Okay…if you really want to…"

As soon as Jeff casted Thunderaga on my key, I felt the excruciating jolt coarse through my body. Having gathered it's bearings, the darkside reared for another attack. As his fist came down, I jumped on it and ran up its arm. Before he could react, I took the sparking keyblade and swiftly decapitated it, ending the darkside's life and ending the dream link.

I woke up the next day with extreme chest pain. Later that day Jeff went to the doctor. I found out he had scoliosis in 7 places. (scoliosis is a unnatural and painful curvature of the spine)
