Uh...Hi...

Please don't kill me for discontinuing Reincarnation; I just don't feel that story anymore.

Disclaimer: If I had a dollar for all the times I wished I owned Naruto…

Unilateral- on one side alone

It was never really about earning his love or having him love her in return.

(Of course she didn't realize this until he was gone)

She loved so many people:

Naruto

(He was like a hyper little brother),

Ino

(Like an older sister),

Kakashi

(Like a second father),

Tsunade

(Like a second mother),

And all her other friends

He thought he didn't have anyone, didn't need anyone, to care for and to be cared for by.

She had to let him know that he really did have that.

(Even if Naruto and she had to had to beat it into him)

She honestly just wanted to love him, to have that love excepted by him. He didn't have to love her in return, he just had to except that she loved him and there was no harsh words he could shoot at her that would change that.

(It didn't matter that it broke her heart everyday knowing that he most likely would never care about her the way she cared for him)

But when she accidently met Sasuke at that bench alone,

(He had returned two months before and Naruto was supposed to be watching him)

It suddenly mattered.

He just sat there on that bench, like nothing had happened there; like their lives hadn't taken a sharp turn in that very spot. It infuriated her to no end.

(It just angered her more when he looked up at her coolly, like he had barely noticed her)

And suddenly it mattered very much that his ignorance broke her heart.

"Why are you here?"

He didn't answer.

She wasn't surprised

(He never really answered her before, anyways)

The question hung in the silence for a long time till Sasuke spoke.

"Why are you here?"

"I always come here, Sasuke-kun. Why? Did you think I'd avoid a bench?"

He scowled at her then looked down at the ground.

"I hurt you here."

"You hurt me everywhere I go."

He looked up at her for that comment, almost looking as if she'd slapped him.

That face just pissed her of more.

"Did you ever think that have your heart torn apart and shoved back at your face hurt?" she demanded, " Did it ever appear in your revenge obsessed brain that you wouldn't cause me that constant pain of having a broken heart?"

Like before, she stood in his silence, huffing angrily this time, with her eyes locked on his stiff figure.

(He almost looked like a statue)

She snorted rudely, and snapped her gazed away from him angrily to gaze at the trees that populated the area.

"Hn"

(He had the vocabulary of one)

Seeing as she was getting no where, Sakura sighed and moved to walk away. She was stopped by a firm grip on her wrist, yanking her into a solid male form. She suddenly had found her self being kissed.

She blinked at him, not understanding. He huffed and let her go, running a hand through his dark hair, agitated.

"You disserve more than what you've gotten; you care so much about me and I don't think can't return. It hurts, to know you love me, and to know I don't disserve it."

(He was glaring down the whole time, not meeting her eyes, as if he was ashamed.)

Sakura smiled.

"You've had so much go wrong in your life, Sasuke. Don't you disserve a little happiness?"

His dark eyes flashed up to hers in barely concealed surprise.

"Please?"

There was a peculiar note of sarcasm in that word that made Sasuke's lips tilt upwards in an almost smile.

Sakura took that as a yes and returned the half-smile with a beaming one of her own.

..

"But don't think your getting off that easy, Uchiha."

"Hn." -Sweat drop-

..
