A/N: Dudes, I'm sorry. This is going to be extremely fluffy and short. And as I'm writing the story, I was kind of puking from all the fluffiness. So, have fun. Spoilers for Mark of Athena, or Marcas de Atena in Portugese! Oh yeah, and this is set on the night after the thing with the dolphins and shit.
Disclaimer: It belongs to Rick Riordan. Not the creepy clown, but you know, the series, and characters, and books, and yeah.
Percy stares up at the wood planks that make up the ceiling of his cabin, stretching out on his bed. He closes his eyes, and listens to the rhythmic typing being made by a certain headstrong blonde, whom Percy was quite proud to call his girlfriend. A few moments later, the typing stops, and he hears the soft thud of her closing her laptop.
He is counting the number of blue things in the room when he feels Annabeth sit next to him on his bed. She leans her head into his shoulder, and he automatically wraps his arm around her waist. She looks up at Percy, smiling. He ducks down to kiss her, and they stay like that for a while, just enjoying each other's warmth, and well lips.
Annabeth sighs when they part, resigning to put her arms around his neck, him cupping her cheek and stroking it softly with his thumb.
"You know, I love you." Percy says quietly. The corner of Annabeth's mouth twitches, and she blushes.
"I know you do, Seaweed Brain," she mutters, looking down. Then, she meets his eyes again, green and grey, she says, "I love you, too."
Percy smirks. "Yeah, I think almost everyone got that back in Charleston."
Annabeth reddens, and he leans in to peck her right above her lip, a spot that he had figured out before. She leans up to kiss him again.
"What were you thinking," she murmurs against his lips, "When you saw my dagger in the water. "
"I don't really know, other than a bunch of Romans might have hurt you. I wouldn't have been able to stand it if they even tried to do anything to you." He replies as he pulls away. "What about when I was asleep?"
Annabeth laughs. "I think I was downright scary, especially when you first went missing. Did anyone tell you how I nearly killed Jason?" Percy looks at her quizzically. "I was a tad emotional. But seriously, it was kind of like Hera decided to rip my heart out, stomp on it, and then attempt to put it back in, but since she hates me, she didn't do such a good job."
They're quiet for a minute before Annabeth speaks up.
"How did you remember me? I mean, you said I was the only one you remembered." She says. Percy's eyes flickered, from the door and then back to her.
"I think Hera knew I would risk everything to get back to you, that I would keep going and finish what I needed to." He pauses. "But I don't think she could've erased you if she tried. Which I think she did."
She smiles, which makes him grin as well. But then Annabeth stands, pulling him up along with her. She kisses him again, on the cheek this time.
"I'm gonna split. I'd rather not have Coach Hedge put us on leashes."
A/N: Dude, that was a terrible ending. This is too fluffy! IT'S BURNING MY EYES. DUDES, WHAT'S HAPPENING TO ME. Okay, I'm back. Sorry about that ya'll. This is just extremely fluffy. This was originally going to be called "Daisy", which was going to be Perce's little pet name for her, but since I had written that before Mark of Athena, I didn't really want to make it AU or anything.
