Under the lost city of old Ba Sing Se,
First it was you and I,
-Against that fiend.
Just merely wining,
But he had to come and strike.
I took on the girl,
-And you the prince.
When you tumbled to the ground,
Something went through me; a feeling so strong,
Messing with my girl I will not allow.
Summoned earth and rocks,
I ran to you but the fiend prevented me.
I tripped and fell,
I saw them surround you,
And you struggled to fight them off.
There too many,
Greatly outnumbered we were.
You were my most prized person,
But there was no other choice.
I saw no other way out,
Than to do what I did.
I hadn't wanted to,
But it was the only way.
You and I were greatly outnumbered,
It was the only way.
What I did back there,
Was for the good of not just the world,
But you itself.
My world was you,
And without you,
My world would be nothing.
Even if I would leave those feelings,
I would still have you.
All that matters is that what I do,
-Keeps the harm away from you.
It was happening,
I could see myself moving further away from you.
At the moment I began to glow an electric current struck,
I could feel myself falling down,
-Back to Earth.
Time seemed to stop,
Light was slowly fading from my vision,
My world then went dark.
Just for a few minutes,
I was not with you in Earth.
Where I was,
I had no clue but it was not with you.
Then as quickly as I appeared in such strange surroundings,
It disappeared or I left the place which had no you.
I opened my eyes just a crack,
My eyes spotted your ocean ones.
Seeing you there,
Was like meeting you for the first time again.
Then a painful ache passed through me,
But you were there,
That alone was enough to take my mind off the pain.
A pain I couldn't ignore for long,
I slowly slipped into a sleep.
My eyes were shut,
But I was not asleep.
Every word they spoke,
Came clear to me,
I heard everything.
The Earth Kingdom has fallen,
Those words were impossible to ignore.
Again I had failed,
I could never do things right.
When I awoke things were different,
I was out for quite some time.
I was different,
Not just the hair but my confidence with you had grown.
Back there,
Under the lost city of Ba Sing Se,
It had been a fate worst than imprisonment.
My fate had been death,
I had left the world but mostly you.
I was truly gone but you brought me back,
You saved me,
I cheated death.
After many long hours thinking,
Something clicked in my head.
I might have failed,
But at least here I still am.
Things might have been different,
Had that fiend,
Not done what she had.
If I had not been struck,
You would have been let go,
My world would have been gone.
But here I am,
Alive and with you,
-Never thinking of letting you go.
