It was night, and everyone had just gotten back to camp from capture the flag.
"Everyone! I have an announcement!" Chiron stood as everyone quieted down.
"Tomorrow we will be started a new tradition called Mistletoe Wars!" He said. "Every cabin gets two mistletoes, with cameras that have been provided by the Hephaestus Cabin. You get one point per recorded kiss. If you kiss under your own mistletoe you lose a point."
Everyone murmured about it, but everyone loved the idea.
"When does it end?" Someone from the crowd of kids called.
"Christmas day! You have five days to gain the most points," he called. Everyone cheered.
Soon enough after going over the rules, everyone went to their cabins talking about it. As everyone slept, each cabin got a small box with two mistletoes in it. Each was embellished with colored ribbons and charms to represent each cabin God or Goddess.
Percy woke up with a stupid grin, going to his door and opening the box to see two mistletoes with blue ribbons. He woke up early to plant the mistletoes. He was quiet happy, plus Hazel and Frank were visiting for the week, not knowing about the mistletoe wars. Nico would probably tell Hazel, and someone would have to tell Frank.
Almost like a little kid, Percy ran off towards the two trees at the end of the canoe lake, and put one mistletoe between there. He put the other one at the door of the camp shop.
"Seaweed Brain!" Someone whisper yelled from a distance. He turned to see Annabeth with one of her mistletoes.
"Hey! You've got a mistletoe? Where'd you plant the other one?" He asked.
"Left the other one for the rest of the cabin. This one's mine~" she said "Help, where should I plant it?" She asked.
"Don't come here, my mistletoe it up here, put it near the Big House!" He called.
The conch horn for breakfast blew, and both of them scattered off. Annabeth to the Big House, ad Percy to his cabin 'line'.
"I saw you running around camp, what were you doing?" Jason asked with a Christmas hat on the Piper gave him.
"Planting my Mistletoes," Percy replied.
"Oh, jeez you must've woken up early," Jason mumbled.
"Yeah, Annabeth is planting hers right now," Percy replied.
A few days later, there had been many kissed going around. Piper and Jason Hazel and Frank, even Katie Gardner got caught under one with Travis Stoll. It was campfire time, Percy and Annabeth were sitting together.
Nico's eyes lit up with opportunity as she ran off.
"Nico!" Hazel called as he sprinted off into the direction of the cabins. It was Christmas Eve and everyone turned to see Nico running.
"Where's he going?" Jason asked. Hazel shrugged.
Everyone turned back to the fire as footsteps came up behind the crown. Nico pushed his way between some Apollo, Athena, and Aphrodite kids as he held a mistletoe above Percy and Annabeth.
"Do it!" Nico said, panting heavily.
The mistletoe had black ribbons with a skull charm on it.
Percy and Annabeth laughed. Annabeth caught Malcolm's eye and winked at him. Malcom quietly snuck out of the crowd.
Annabeth kissed Percy, giving the Hade's cabin another point.
Annabeth smirked as Malcom threw a mistletoe to her. She nudged Percy, and he pulled Will to Nico.
"Merry Christmas!" The two yelled as Annabeth put the mistletoe above them. Rather than waiting, Hazel elbowed Nico to make him flinch, kissing Will.
"Merry Christmas Solangelo!" Piper yelled laughing.
Everyone started laughing and clapping as Nico and Will pulled back, and joined the laughter.
