"Kaity~ Kaity-did~ Wake up!~" A hyper voice sang.

Someone poked me. "I think she's dead."

I grabbed the persons hand and opened my eyes to see Lu-lu and Chastain. They both smiled at me innocently, which I returned with a glare "I told you not to wake me up, I was up late working on the project."

Chastain laughed. "Sorry Kaity, we were just concerned. You know how Mr. Monroe is gonna react when he sees you asleep"

I sighed and sat up straight, knowing our math teacher would kill me if he saw. Luckily he wasn't in the room yet. I shivered and wondered why the bastard had the air conditioner on high in December. I think his body temperature is fucked up or something.

I looked around the room seeing everyone sitting with their friends talking. My two closest friends in that class were currently poking each other and saying random stuff, the retards, but I love 'em any way. "Hey. Where's Haley?"

Chastain stopped poking Lu-lu and frowned. "Sick."

I frowned. It was rare for Haley to get sick so it must have been something big. Probably the flu bug going around, I pity her. I stared at my desk and started braiding my long black hair. I looked at Chastain, she had brown eyes like me but she had dark blonde hair while mine was black like Lu-lu's. And Lu-lu and Haley had bluish eyes but Haley had brown hair.

Lightning hit the ground next to my window desk. I jumped up "HOLY FUCK!"

Lu-lu stared at the spot it hit for a second. Chastain looked at me "Weird huh? It's sunny out but that happened."

I nodded shaking slightly, since I hated lightning and thunder. I looked at the sky from the window and my eyes widened. IT WAS PURPLE! "What the fuck?"

Lu-lu looked, as did Chastain. "Pretty~" They both said.

We all made sure Mr. Monroe wasn't in, took the passes and ran out to the football field. Lightning struck again right in front of us. I tried by best not to scream. We were all very confused.

Haley ran toward us, seeming to have came from out of nowhere. The sky changes colors again, to green.

I started shaking, thinking it was the end of the world. The only thing running through my mind was how it all could end so suddenly. Lightning surrounded us and it all went dark.
