A Holiday from my life

"Harry!" Hermione squealed as she ran over to him. She embraced him in a warm hug.

"He asked, Harry, and I said yes!" Hermione was very happy and Harry could see that in her doughnut eyes.

Hermione had finally got up the courage to ask Ron out until the last year of Hogwarts and now Ron, who had become an important member of the ministry, had asked Hermione to be his bride. Harry felt happy for Hermione who deserved to be happy but deep down he felt the tug of longing pulling at his heart.

Not that he wanted Hermione. No he wanted love. To love and to be loved, to hold and to be held, to kiss and to be kissed.

It was a week and a bit until Valentines Day and everywhere couples where together. Harry again would be alone this Valentines Day. Hermione left him and ran back over to Rob who ginned at Harry and Harry grinned back.

The war had been over for a few years but the scars hadn't healed. He looked around Hermione and Ron were in a corner acting like teenagers and on the other side of the room Neville and Ginny in a large chair sharing a sweet kiss. Harry had become the highest Arour there is and Ron and Hermione with him.

They were at the Burrow visiting Ron's family and to say goodbye to Harry who had an undercover job in Donegal in Ireland. He was staying with Seamus Finnagain#, an old school friend and his long time partner Dean Thomas.

In fact what they didn't know how much this one trip was going to change Harry life.

Harry was an Arour but he had been through a lot and his bosses thought he needed a break so sent him on this under cover job as a reporter for the Daily Prophet. There were rumours spreading around that a group of Chiena, a magically mixed group of monkeys with powers, was forming a battle plan. This was, of course nonsense, but still it made sure Harry would have a nice long rest.

Or so he thought.
