"Huh? What's going on? Tohru? Tohru where are you?!" Kyo frantically searched through the crowd looking for his beloved brown-haired blue-eyed beauty. He heard a soft weep coming from on of the nearby trees. He saw her kneeling there. "Ow…" Tohru said sniffling. "Tohru?! Tohru what happened?! Are you hurt?! Did some do this to you!? Who!? Who did this to you!? I swear… If someone dare lay one finger on you I-". Tohru giggled, "It's alright Kyo, I'm fine. I just tripped was all." She said wiping tears from her eyes, smiling. "Huh…? Then… Why were you crying?" Kyo said with concern. "Aha. Silly Kyo. You should realize by now I always cry when I get hurt." She said smiling wide. "Ahhhh… Yeah. I guess you're right… Just, watch where you're going next time, okay?" He said bonking her on her head lightly. "Okay! Sorry to have startled you…" "Yeah. Whatever. Look, umm… I wanted to tell you something, uhh… I guess I should just come out and say it. Tohru, I- I lov-".
"BEEP. BEEP. BEEP!" Kyo woke started as his alarm clock went off. "Ahhh…" He said scratching his head, "It was just a dream.." He got dressed and went downstairs to see what Tohru was making for breakfast. As soon as he saw her, a flashback from his dream approached him, "Tohru… I- I lov-". "Are you just going to stand there with your mouth open? You look like a complete idiot… You stupid Cat." "Arggggggggg..! Shut up you damn rat!" "Ah! Good morning Kyo! Did you sleep well?" "Yeah. Morning.." Kyo walked away and sat down at the table releasing a big sigh.
Tohru was worried.
"Umm.. Kyo?" "AH! WHAT?!" "Umm.. You know, you can tell me things. I know I told you this before, but I'm serious. If there's anything on your mind; tell me. Please." Her voice was only a whisper.
"Ah… Actually. I do have something to tell you." He wasn't facing her anymore. "I had this dream last night and you were there, crying, you fell and hurt yourself I guess, and I was really worried because you were crying obviously, but, anyway, toward the end of the dream, I said something. I think I was going to say, 'I love you.' but I can't remember exactly what happened after that. I think I woke up…"
Tohru looked as if she'd just seen her life flash before her eyes. "Tohru..? Tohru are you alright?" Kyo waved his hand in front of Tohru's face. She didn't blink, move… It seemed as if she wasn't even breathing either…
Then. She fainted. She fell right into Kyo, who of course, transformed into a cat.
"Aww! Hell! Now what am I supposed to do?!" Kyo was too lost in worry and fright to realized that Tohru was waking up a little later. She picked up Kyo and lightly kissed him on his head. "Kyo, if what you said was true in your dream then, I love you too." She gave him a gentile smile. She sat him back down and he instantly changed back into a human. Turning away to give him some privacy while he changed in to clothing she turned around when he said it was okay. He gave her a kiss as soon as she turned and whispered in her ear, "I think, my dream was right."
