title: nearsighted
summary: Nunally knows he sees her. But he will never know how she sees him.
notes: done for So Guhn. for you, I will write my first CG fic.

Onii-sama always watches her.
She never sees this, of course, but whenever she feels his gaze, seeking her out the corner of his eye, her thoughts would often drift to a lingering question, one that rise a faint fear in her.
(what do you see in me onii-sama?)
When she asks him to tell her what she looks like, his soft tenor would describe her: her elongated honey curls, or how she had grown, of how her fingers were delicate, only broken with the faintest creases.
She listens carefully, trying to grasp his descriptions. But assorted images only flash to her mind as he speaks: the different shades of cranes that she folds, the blue sky spilling into a painted crimson-gold, and the last tears that she had seen her brother shed for her while he slept.
Are you alright, she feels him kneel before her. He gently kisses her cheek, his mouth soft against her sun-flushed skin. Nunally?
Next time she smiles, bright and hopeful. We can have a picnic here? there were many things unsaid, like about how they used to eat in these large fields with Euphie-neesama; how Suzaku would offer the first onigiri to her; and Onii-sama—
Onii-sama will always be there, his hand on hers, guiding and assuring her that everything is beautiful.
(but its not.)
Aa.
Lelouch assures, his answer was warm, because she can feel his breath against the corner of her lips.
(i am not blind onii-sama, she wanted to say not blind enough to see what's behind the smile in your voice.)
And even if Nunally does not see, surely, if she had eyes, it'll be myopic; for she will only see him, the only thing that matters.
