Spike is walking through the graveyard at night. He spies Buffy walking, patrolling. He walks the other way. He has yet to break into song, and he isnt planning to. As he walks, he finds himself singing, and rolls hs eyes.

He notices a vampire coming for him and starts fighting it.
" I was always brave/ and rather righteous/ but she never noticed me/
I just crawl out of my grave night after night/ It doesnt mean a thing/
(Demon: Being Punched) Youre waiting in the wings
(Spike: Staking Vamp) Thanks for noticing.
(3 demons pop up and start singing) He was pretty well until he fell/ but lately we can tell/ that hes just going though the motions/ Holding on somehow/
(Spike grabs the demon and slits its throat)
(Demon) He's not even half the vamp he--- ow.
(Spike) Will she stay this way forever/ stubborn and as cold as ever/
(Spike stakes a vamp thats on a girl. The girl gets up.)
(Girl) How can I repay---
(Spike) Whatever/
All she needs is meeee/
I keep going through the motions/ even though Ive died/ She can't even see/ What she means to me/ because she makes me feel/
