Hello everyone once again! Just wanted to say that after rewatching this scene I realized why I absolutely love it. I might do something like this in the future, but the full events. For now, this is essentially just a palette swap as one reviewer said on a previous one-shot of mine. It makes the Dwarf in the Flask Jaune, as I always use him.

Again, I might do something like this again in the future, but with far more expansion and backstory. Actually make a fic of it or something.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy, and if any of you are thinking of doing or are doing a reaction fic, where RWBY watches the multiverse or something, PM me and I'll throw some fics your way, and feel free to use anything I make. But be warned, I usually make Jaune the villain, as I quite like that trope, no idea why.

Jaune Arc was standing in an infinite white plane with a massive floating door behind him, completely blank and flat.

Jaune turned around to face the door with a look of shock. "Tell me… why did you refuse to join me? Why God? How did I disappoint you?"

"You were incapable of believing in yourself." A voice spoke up from behind Jaune. He turned around to see… him. But he was pure white and had no features other than a massive toothy grin, but something was telling him that it was him.

"You stole your power from others, you rejected your human origins, and chose to covet the power of what you call 'god'. You never grew from your days as a Huntsman-in-training. Did you really think you'd become superior to humans by removing your seven desires?" Jaune grew visibly angry at its words.

It was true, Jaune had learned all he could from Ozpin and Salem, and turned that knowledge into removing the undesirable parts of himself, and placing them into another being. This created the Homunculi.

The thing's smiled widened further. "Don't make me laugh!"

Jaune took a step forward. "What's wrong with that? I only wanted to obtain perfection! I wanted this world's knowledge for my own!" Jaune clenched his fists and glared at the thing. "Why should I be punished for that!? What's wrong with craving knowledge!? What's wrong with seeking perfection!?"

The thing did not answer him, but instead continued to smile at him.

"Well? Speak! What are you anyway? Do you even have a name?" Jaune pointed at the thing. "Who the hell do you think you are!?"

The thing's smile disappeared. "Who am I? One name you might have for me is 'The World', or you might call me 'The Universe'. Or perhaps 'God'? Or perhaps 'The Truth'. I am all and I am one. So, of course, this also means that I am you." The creature said as it pointed at Jaune, whose eyes widened as it dawned on him.

"I am the truth of your despair. The inescapable price of your boastfulness." It said, getting a gasp from Jaune as he remembered something.

A flashback to Jaune, skin pure black and covered in massive red eyes as he smirked down with his lipless, toothy mouth at Ruby Rose. "Humans who would dare to play God must pay a steep price for their arrogance, that is truth!" At the time, Jaune had believed himself above humanity after removing his seven desires… sloth, envy, greed, lust, wrath, gluttony and pride.

Jaune took a step back in fear as everything settled into place in his mind. "And now? I will bestow upon you the despair you deserve."

The massive door behind Jaune began to open, and he turned around to see inside it. Pure darkness, nothing else.

That was, until, a massive vertical eye opened up.

Jaune took a step away from God. "D-Don't do this to me… I can't…" Black arms ending in tiny little hands slowly emerged from around the eye and came towards Jaune. "I can't go back…" He said, tearing up a little. "Please stop! I can't bear to be bound any longer!"

Jaune turned away from the door and began to sprint away into the endless white void. But the arms sped up and grasped hold of him, and began to pull him back towards the Eye of God.

Jaune screamed out in fear and despair as he tried to stop them, but they were stronger than him. He began to cry in earnest as he fought his hardest. "NO! NO NO NO NO NO NO!" He cried out, reaching towards the white creature.

"This despair is reserved for the boastful."

"JUST TELL ME WHAT I WAS SUPPOSED TO DO!"

"You brought this outcome upon yourself."

"WHAT'D I DO WRONG!? WHAT SHOULD I HAVE DONE!?" He begged once more, but stopped and screamed once he saw the doors closing in on him.

With a slam, the doors shut closed on Jaune Arc. This would be his punishment.

The white creature smiled. "You simply must have seen the answer with your own eyes."
