So this is just kind of a maybe story, I may delete it if I feel there is no potential to it. Its my first story outside of the usual Lost Boys ones I write, but I want to try something different. So I hope you like and let me know if you think I should continue. J

Emily had been a servant of the Goblin King since she was a child, her mother had passed away shortly after the Sarah Incident, Emily stepped up taking her place as the King's highest slave. She was silent for the most part their weren't many mortals in the Goblin City, their were no more than five that lived within the castle, and a fair few within the city limit. Emily was elegant and charming, the way her mother brought her up. Long blonde hair swept over her back, enchanting bright blue eyes lit up her face, plump pink lips she would never find the opportunity to use complimented every feature.

She held a tray of wine and a crystal glass, her red roman cut dress washed over the cobble stone her feet bringing the only sound into the room as the King sat at the window ledge peering out over the city.

"Your highness." She lowered her head in a small bow. "Good afternoon, Emily." He said removing his eyes from the window taking her in, it was a shame about her mother. Before Sarah she was his.

"How was your sleep, Sir?" She asked making small talk.

"Fine." Jareth looked back to the window. "Is all well within the city?"

"Yes, sir from what I've heard this morning."

"Good." He paused a moment. "Bring me the crystal that watches her."

Emily nodded and went to one of the cupboards that that held the crystal, He watched it almost every day. Emily was bitter towards the girl for denying her King after all he did for her…She would die of flattery, had Jareth done any one of those things he did for Sarah, to her.

She took the crystal to him, he looked init entranced with just the view of the girl. She returned to the tray she had and bagan to pour the King his wine. She took the glass to him and put it on the window ledge. His eyes never moved from the crystal. "Thank you that will be all Emily."

"Yes, sir." She made her way to the door before turning back. "Will you be needing me in your bed tonight?" She asked.

"No."

Emily turned away and walked out the door, stricken with envy as she left the king to his memories of her.
