Do I look fat?
It was a rainy Saturday night and Maureen had actually decided she wanted to stay in for the night. Joanne was delighted by her decision of course, and choose to use this time to read over a case she was bringing to court on Monday.
The lawyer sat upright on her bed, notes and papers sprawled across her like a blanket. Maureen was also in the room, standing in front of the mirror in pajama pants and bra, checking herself out.
Maureen turned to the side, checking out her profile, a pout quickly found her lips at the sight. To anyone else Maureen was perfect. Maureen thought she was perfect most of the time too, but today the diva was moody, bloated, and fatigue, so right now she found her self to be disgustingly plump.
"Pookie?" Maureen whined her eyes still glued to her reflection.
"Hmm." Was Joanne's response, her eyes never leaving the file resting in her lap.
"Do you think I'm fat?" Maureen finally asked, her hands smoothing over her stomach.
Joanne finished reading her sentence before glancing up at her girlfriend, her eyebrows turned, and her head shaking. "No, honeybear, I think you're perfect." Right after she answered, she quickly went back to reading.
"Oh my God you think I'm fat!" Maureen shouted, throwing a pillow at Joanne's.
Joanne's head snapped up, shock hitting her square in the face. "Maureen no, I don't!"
"Why did it take you so long to answer!?" Maureen demanded.
"Because I was reading…" Joanne said.
"Because you had to swallow your barf!" Maureen shouted. "Why are you with me if you think I'm so fat!?"
"Oh-My-God!" Joanne said, slowly standing up from the bed. "Maureen listen to me. I do not think you are fat. You are healthy, toned, and very sexy."
"Well then why did you refuse sex with me tonight?" Maureen asked, her arms crossing over her chest.
"Well number one, you are on your period, it would be kind of gross, and num-"
"Oh so you admit it!" Maureen fired, "You think I'm gross!"
Joanne froze. She had no idea what else to say, and she was shocked as hell at how angry Maureen had become in two seconds. She wasn't sure if she should say anything or not, scared she might make the matter worse.
"This is just great!" Maureen said, pulling a shirt over her head. "My own girlfriend is revolted by me!"
"Maureen!" Joanne firmly said, reaching out, placing her hands on her shoulders. "Listen to me. I don't think you're fat, or gross. You are gorgeous." Joanne watched as a smile formed on Maureen's lips, so she decided to keep talking, "You are beautiful inside and out. Plus it's not really what's on the outside that count's, it's what's on the inside." The lawyer smirked satisfied with her speech; however her smirk faded as Maureen's smile washed away.
Should have stopped after you called her gorgeous!
"So you just like me for my personality." Maureen spat, jerking away from Joanne. "What a bunch of bull! I thought I made you swoon!?"
"You do every time!" Joanne said pulling Maureen in a hug. "Not only do I love you for your personality, but for your looks too. You are, sexy, gorgeous, beautiful, hot, pretty, stunning, dazzling, healthily skinny, attractive, striking, cute, lovely, a hot piece of ass, adorable, I would tap that-"
"Pookie!" Maureen giggled, "Okay I get it."
"Are you sure?" Joanne asked, slowly pulling away.
Maureen nodded, kissing Joanne on the cheek. "Thanks Joanne! You made me feel much better."
With that Maureen happily skipped out of the bedroom, leaving a bewildered Joanne behind.
Joanne shook her head, her breathing a little off, "I will never fully understand that woman."
