. . .
The ceiling is white.
That was the first thing that came to my mind when I woke up. I sat up on the bed. The whole room was white. Even the robe-like garment I was wearing was white. I must fit to the décor very well with my white hair. The thought made me laugh a little, but I stopped as soon as I started. My rib hurt. I peeked inside the robe I was wearing and noticed that there were white bandages covering my torso. That's when it hit me:
I was in the hospital.
I heard footsteps and turned my head to face the door. The door opened and Rangiku walked in. She stared at me for a while before running to my bed and hugging me tightly. I hissed when she touched me. Apparently the wound on my rib was bad. Rangiku released me soon. I asked her what had happened. She was silent for a while.
"You were in a car crash. You've been unconscious for three days." she told me.
It took me a while to understand what Rangiku said. Then, suddenly, I remembered everything. I remembered the accident, I remembered the pain and I remembered…
…Gin!
I almost fell from the bed when my memory came back. Lucky for me, Rangiku stopped me from falling my grabbing my arm. I looked into her eyes before opening my mouth.
"Where's Gin?" I asked her. Rangiku was silent for a while and stared at the floor. I asked her again.
"Rangiku, where's Gin?"
Rangiku lifted her gaze from the floor and pulled me into a bone-crushing hug.
"Gin didn't make it. He died before they managed to get him to the hospital." Rangiku whispered to me. I could hear in her voice that she was crying. Rangiku pulled something out of her pocket, handed it to me and left the room.
I was left sitting in the now empty room. Tears were running down my face when I sank to the bed. I cried against my pillow and sobbed so hard that my rib hurt. Even when I felt blood seeping through the bandages and onto the sheets, I couldn't stop.
The last thing I remember before falling asleep was the continuous beep-sound that was coming from the machine next to me.
After that?
. . .
Just white.
Toshiro: . . .
Me: No comment huh?
Toshiro: Why did you write this? Seriously, I never thought you would manage to write something this… angsty.
Me: Actually, I wrote this to Finnish class. I just translated it. And wrote the names. (In the original version, the names were just the first letters.)
Toshiro: Why woman, why?
Me: Because Lambtron thought it was good and that I should publish it.
Toshiro: You need to stop hanging around her. She's bad influence.
Me: Not happening. Anyways, my dear readers, as usual I don't own Bleach, Kubo does. See ya next time!
