She was walking down the street. On her way home from a night out with friends. They had all gone out to a bar for a much needed girl's night but after a few drinks she decided to leave early. Her friends had offered to come with her but she didn't want their company. There were no cabs in sight so she opted to walk home. There were two routes she could take. The first was to stay on the main roads but it would take an hour. Just the other was to cut through neighborhoods, making her go through a rougher area of town. But it would take half as long. Since she wasn't in her right mind, she decided to take the shorter way.
As she was making her way through the rougher part of town she suddenly didn't feel alone anymore. Her head picked up to see a woman standing just a couple of yards ahead of her, completely blocking the sidewalk. Staring at her. Anyone would be able to sense that this was not a good situation to be in. The woman's intentions appeared to be anything but good.
"It's not very smart to walk around on your own. It's late at night, you never know what kind of people could be wandering about."
The woman had black hair, and was very pale, her eyes a beautiful hazel color. She was stunning.
What could this woman possibly want with her? Before she could think of something to do or say the mysterious woman rushed forward in a distortion. Now she was inches away from her face.
"What the-"
Before she could finish her sentence the woman's her eyes darkened, veins popping out, and fangs unleashed themselves.
She went to scream but before she could the woman had bit into her wrist and forced it against her mouth. After a few seconds her mouth filled with blood and she reluctantly swallowed. As soon as she did the woman let go of her.
Before she could do anything else a man appeared. He has light brown hair and beautiful green eyes. He had many tattoos covering his body and he was very tall 6'0 at least.
"Courtney!"
"Duncan, so nice to see you"
"What the hell are you doing?"
"Percy mentioned we needed more night walkers so I thought I could help out."
"Hand the girl over Courtney."
"You want her? Then you can have her"
Before Duncan had any time to stop her she snapped the girl's neck.
