Sublimino grinned at every pocket watch as he stood by a local shop window. *There are so many pocket watches. I am going to obtain all of them* he thought. Sublimino looked back. He frowned after he saw the empty street. *There aren't any people to hypnotize into stealing watches.*
Thunder startled Sublimino. After shrieking, he ran. He saw a small building before he entered it. *At least I found shelter* Sublimino thought.
He wandered and saw something near a corner. Sublimino tilted his head to one side.
A man sat near the wall and looked ahead. A frown remained on his face. He glanced at Sublimino. ''You are?'' he muttered.
''I'm Sublimino. Who are you?''
''Clancy. Why are you here?''
Sublimino looked sheepish. ''Thunder startled me before I ran into this place. Why are you here?''
''This place is shelter from the weather,'' Clancy said.
Sublimino looked down and saw two roaches on his leg. He gasped before he stepped back. He trembled after the insects ran to Clancy.
That was when he remembered the pocket watch in his vest.
*Let's see how Clancy feels after he is terrified of insects!*
Grinning, Sublimino reached into his vest. He removed the watch and approached Clancy. He moved the watch in front of his face.
''Focus on the watch. You are getting sleepy. You are going to close your eyes. I am going to count to three. You will open your eyes after three. You will be so afraid of insects that you won't be able to go near them again.''
Clancy frowned at the pocket watch. Many insects walked out of his coat sleeves.
Sublimino gasped. He shrieked before every insect covered him.
Clancy smiled. Insects were always going to be his companions.
