Synopsis:
Celestia is a fallen angel who is sent on a mission to redeem herself by trying to promote general peace. Her latest mission sends her to the past to try and form alliances for the upcoming war. She stumbles upon Sebastian Michaelis who sends her plans spiraling out of control. She is in disguise to try and gain Sebastian's favor to help with her mission. Meanwhile, she will help with brand new mysteries and enemies of Ciel Phantomhive. Sebastian realizes that Celestia is not who she claims to be, yet has a hard time trying to discover who she really is. Throughout the novel, we will discover who Celestia REALLY is and her struggle with sticking to her moral values. Meanwhile, we have Sebastian discovering his side of humanity, being introduced to more morality and discovering that the Supernatural world is more than black and white. We also see the corruption of Ciel's character decline as he learns more about humanity, yet we see him mature even more because of his exposure to this new upcoming war.
My main goal in this story is to go in deeper with breaking the idea that all demons are "bad" and all angels are "good". As explored previously in Black Butler angels can be corrupt, similarly, I want to explore the humanity of demons. The story intends to show more character depth to Sebastian as well, yes he is more perfect than a human, but he has his flaws as well. He can't feel emotion, he's demented, he can be protective to a fault etc. This story will also have brand new mysteries that will end up significant in the finale with the war between heaven and the underworld.
Lastly, I can't stand Mary Sues, so my OC will not be one. The whole premise reveals how truly inexperienced she is from the start. She believes she has fooled Sebastian when in reality he doesn't believe her from the beginning. She is naiive, easily corruptible, and very much stuck in a right or wrong mindset. It's not until she experiences her own growth until she realizes how wrong she is and even then she still is too forgiving and trusting of others.
The whole set up for the war has strange alliances, traitors, and unexpected enemies.
If you have any suggestions or comments don't hesitate to post. Thank you for your time.
Hello, the first 4 chapters will be posted on the 24th of June when I'm done with finals. I wanted to post this before then, however, to get some suggestions or honest opinions from readers to see how they like the story ideas what they like/don't like etc. I know this is not typical or normal of an author to do, but I like to stay connected with my audience. I will be posting one to twice a week on Fridays and Mondays. Please comment or DM any suggestion is welcome.
Also, if more convenient you can find my story on Wattpad as well.
