A/N: This is my first story here! Yay! I have no idea why I wrote a Frodo/Sam shipper story, I'm not even a Frodo/Sam shipper! Anyway, please R&R, I'm always open for criticism.

My dear Sam,
It's been many years since we parted at the harbor. How are you? And your beautiful baby Ellie? Is she now as elegant as Rosie?
At that point, I paused. I couldn't write about Rosie. I hated her, and the jealousy and envy will run through my bones forever. However, I knew Sam missed me, I know he wants a letter from me. I continued.
Life here is pleasant, but it is lonely without you my friend. Maybe one day we can meet again, one day I can see you once again.
Yes. I thought, see his lovely face, that look of concern, that look I love. I wish someone painted him, I wish it were me. I am quickly forgetting his figure, but never will I forget his smile.
The book I gave you. In case you haven't opened it, the last few pages are filled for you. I wrote my parting letter there. Keep it safe Sam, so that one day, when I come back, we can look through it together.
Now I regret coming here. I regret leaving my dearest Sam behind. If only he got stabbed too, if only he could come. That way we could be together forever. The thought cam to mind many times, to go there and take him away. But no, I can't do that, he will lose Rosie. And as much as I would love that, I would also hate that. If he is not happy, I cannot be either.
Dear Sam, I really miss you, we shall meet one day. I promise. But for now, give Ellie a kiss for me, and give my regards to Merry and Pip.
Is that all? I question. I still dare not tell him about the heartache in my heart, nor my feelings for him. How can I end this?
See you soon Sam,
Love Frodo.
A tear drops right into the middle of the page, I tried to wipe it away, only to smudge it even more. With no other choice, I fold up the letter, put it in an envelope and pass it to Gandalf, who will be going to visit them tomorrow.
"Why can't I come along Gandalf? Why?"
His aged, but still very wise eyes looked at me, "because Frodo, if you do, you'll never want to leave him again."
My heart stopped. He knew, Gandalf knew.
A/N : So what do you think?
