I'm back from writing. Yeah. I have another oneshot coming up soon, which is Rima-centric. This one is dedicated to those who actually LIKE Tadase.
Nights like this for Tadase has been quite solemn, though the starry sky was still as beautiful. He can't help but admire the stars that shone brightly.
It was quite chilly outside, but Tadase didn't mind. He'd rather stay outside and admire the stars.
"They really are beautiful," Kiseki said, floating down to Tadase's knee. "Quite a spectacular scenery, a king like me approves of this."
Tadase giggled softly, Kiseki was still being the comical little chara he was. He held his arm out to check the time. The silver wristwatch he wore gleamed brightly as the hands of the watch slowly ticked.
"It's really late. Let's go in, Kiseki," Tadase said, standing up. Kiseki, who managed not to fall off Tadase's knee, shot his bearer a quick glare before following him inside his room.
Tadase sat down on his bed, still staring at the silver wristwatch. His face showed an expression of sorrow. He remembered all the memories from the past. Memories with his dear "big brother," Ikuto. Memories with his grandmother. Memories with the girl he once loved. Amu.
For a guy who is really kind and caring, Tadase has been mistaken by many. He didn't mind it much himself, but thinking about it hurts him. Little by little.
He remembered when he got this particular wristwatch from Ikuto, for his birthday. Ikuto was now living a very happy life with Amu now dating him. As for Amu, he remembered how he once had developed feelings for the rosette, but he knew it wouldn't last forever. He also remembered how he would take care of his grandmother, hoping she'd get better in time.
He remembered all the happy memories he had with his friends. The memories in which have already stopped as the time ticks away on the wristwatch.
"Still thinking about that, Tadase?" Kiseki questioned, floating towards his bearer who kept his head down, still staring at the watch.
"Yeah..." Tadase paused, lifting his head up and taking off the wristwatch. "I have no reason to be sad anymore. If my friends are all living happily, then it's my time to make my new beginning."
Kiseki stared at his bearer in wonder and smiled. "Well spoken, King Tadase," Kiseki said, nodding as he floated back to his little throne before whispering, "You really have grown up, haven't you?"
Tadase smiled as he placed his silver wristwatch on the desk.
"Time still ticks, but the past memories have already stopped. I haven't realized that until now."
With your own feet, take a step forward and make your future.
Come now, just be yourself, as you are, and start anew.
-Niigaki Risa, Silver no Udedokei
So, that's about it. Yeah, I quoted a part of Niigaki Risa's rap from Silver no Udedokei at the end because this line really inspires me a lot (Well everything in the song intrigues me, it's just that the raps are so inspiring.)
On to the second story. Actually, I don't know if I am going to make something Ikuto-centric because I'm still thinking about it.
Gokigenyou!
