Annabeth found herself wanting to cry in class for the hundredth time today. She glanced down at the picture in her hands.
Oh Percy. I miss you so much. Even though its only been a month since she left Camp Half-Blood, she found herself constantly missing his company.
When she had started going to this new highschool, she wanted to remain a low-key profile. That's why she always sat in the back of the class, and never spoke up, even when she knew the answer and nobody else did. Annabeth wasnt exactly a loner. She just didn't want anyone questioning her if something bad happened, like leaving to camp for a few weeks (Not like that's bad), or if a hell-hound appeared and started attacking the teachers.
As her last bell of the day rang, she grabbed her backpack and headed out towards the parking lot, where everyone else was going, because this piece of crap school doesn't have any buses. As she was walking out she saw a familiar head of black hair. Shaking her head to herself, she figured that it was just her imagination for missing Percy so much. As she continued trying to get off school grounds and to the parking lot, trying to find her dad, (since she, being a demigod, was too busy saving the world to do normal teenager stuff like get a drivers license) she heard a group of girls squeal.
OH MY GOD he's soooo hot!
I JUST KNOW RIGHT
Ughhh i wanna have his babies.
Annabeth just rolled her eyes. she kept on walking, until she heard a desperate voice say her name.
"Annabeth!"
She spun around, only to find herself in someones embrace, someone who smelled a LOT like salt, ocean water, and cookies.
"Percy!" Annabeth found herself actually sobbing from happiness. she was unaware of a circle forming around them, and people whispering. Percy finally pulled her face from his shirt, and pulled her into a very much needed kiss. she swore that she heard the group of girls gasp, very angrily.
"Percy i missed you so much!" Annabeth cried. "How did you-"
"Your dad called." he interrupted her. "He said that you really missed me and i had decided to surprise you." She smiled back up to him.
"I can never thank you enough." With one last kiss to the cheek, he took her hand, and led her to his car, and drove away leaving all the confused high schoolers thinking one question: "How did Annabeth; quiet, shy, Annabeth, manage to get such a hot boyfriend?"
