Grover was walking towards Juniper's tree. Silena Beauregard had seen how he looked at Juniper, and she had insisted that they had to go out. Annoying Aphrodite girls.
There she was. As beautiful as she is.
Juniper.
All Grover wanted, was her. He didn't care about the search for Pan anymore. He wanted Juniper.
He wanted her amber hair, that smelled of fresh fruits. He wanted the green eyes. He wanted her to mother his babies. He wanted her. Only her.
"Hi Grover!" Juniper said, waving.
"Gurgle," was all he managed to say.
"Oh don't be shy!" Silena whispered.
"Umm... Do you.. Do you wanna go with me to the fireworks?" He asked Juniper. He turned back to Silena, who looked proud of herself.
"Sure! Meet me by the docks a quarter before it starts!" Juniper answered. Her breath smelled of fresh spearmint. She vanished into her tree, surely screaming of delight.
Grover turned, facing Silena's big smile.
"Good job, can eater," she said.
He started to walk home, with his heart jumping up and down.
