Rika felt her heart beat like a drum and her cheeks grow hot as Satoko stood in front of her, lips puckered.
A kiss. Their first kiss. Something Rika had been waiting for and wanting to do for the longest time. Of course it was Satoko that made the first move, though.
Rika felt her hands shaking, yet at the same time she was frozen and unable to move forward. Satoko had a light blush on her face as well, and was waiting for Rika. Rika was just too shy and embarrassed though, she prayed Satoko would get tired and just do everything herself.
She tried to will herself to just move her head forward already, and as she tried she observed Satoko's face. She was really blushing hard now, and the way her lips were puckered up so much was funny. Suddenly, Rika found herself giggling.
Satoko snapped her eyes open and gave a look that was a unique mix between angry, confused and worried.
''W-what's so funny? Don't laugh at me! That just took a lot of courage and you're being mean!'' Then she looked to the ground and her hair covered up her face. 'Y-you maybe don't want to kiss me...?''
''N-no, that's not it at all!" Rika waved her hands in front of her furiously. "I'm sorry, your face just looked really funny and...and cute...''
Satoko pouted. ''I'm not trying to be cute, I'm trying to be serious!''
Rika laughed, causing Satoko to start beating her on the shoulder with her fists.
''H-hey, come on, Rika!''
''Satoko is very cute when she pouts and gets embarrassed, nipah~''
''Ara ara, is that so?'' Satoko crossed her arms and turned around. ''Well then, I'm heading home.''
Rika grabbed her arm as she started to walk. ''Mii...~''
She was going to say sorry at first, but instead went for the cute begging tactic. Something that worked a lot better on Satoko.
Satoko turned around, still looking cross, and Rika took that chance. She cupped Satoko's cheeks and brought their lips together for only about four seconds. She pulled away even more quickly, face completely red. She looked to the side, unable to bring their eyes together.
Satoko's face on the other hand wasn't that dark, and she looked at Rika with a soft expression. She leaned in close to her, finding it cute how Rika jumped a little now, and hugged her.
''Ohoho~ That must have took a lot of courage, good job. You get 100 points!''
Rika felt some small claps behind her back. Rika smiled wryly, she supposed she deserved to have her signature action copied and used to tease her. But, more important to her right now...was hugging Satoko tightly back.
