Log #1: A Medical Assessment
Is this thing on? Is it recording? Of course it's recording. *Sigh* I guess I'll start by saying that this is private Trevor Moore of ODST squad... well I don't know what we're called. I'm beginning these series of audio logs as part of a medical exercise for Dr. Michele. She has requested that for the next few weeks, maybe months I do these logs at least once a week so she may evaluate my mental state. I don't understand why she needs to evaluate my mental state if she has already cleared me for duty. Maybe it's just personal worry or concern for her patient... I don't know. Either way, it's been about three days since I woke up and Zach has kind of been avoiding me since I nearly choked him to death. He only talks to me for military reasons. I mean, I did kind of tell him to fuck off but this is ridiculous. Waiting to get cleared for Zach to begin training me. Hoping that'll speed along nicely. Yes. I'm talking to you Dr. Michele. Not sure what else to talk about. I guess I could talk about my nightmare. I keep dreaming about Reach. About what happened there. I can still see the planet on fire. I can still hear the people screaming. I CAN STILL... *Whispering* I can still smell the smoke and the scent of burning flesh... I... *Sigh* This is private Trevor Moore, signing off.

Author's Note: For the people following 900 who found this because of that, thank you for having a read. For those who haven't read my other story, I hope you enjoy this one and that you'll check out the other story. The chapters in 900 are normal sized chapters but in this one they'll be pretty short. The point of this story is to fill some gaps and stuff in 900 let you know what happened between two chapters and give you a better feel for some characters.
