This is a tale of if Heroes of legend come from the time when this tale WAS legend…

Lightening ricocheted through the sky, thunder boomed across the plains. Rain hissed and trees groaned under the weight of the wind. On this night two friends, a hedgehog and a cat, sat together in the shelter of an abandoned building. Unbeknownst to them this simple run-down building held a much deeper role for them and the fate of the world.

"I swear that's the last time I follow any more of your brilliant midnight hikes Silver!"

Blaze hissed at her childhood friend. She didn't like this, being stuck in the middle of nowhere.

You see, Blaze was following Silver on another fabled legend, this time being the temple of prophecy.

Rumour has it within the temple of prophecy, there stands the truth of which our world will face, but alas, all of Silvers previous excursions failed horribly.

"I KNOW this is true Blaze, just believe in me" Silver declared triumphantly.

Blaze just sighed. "Silver… I try to believe you, honestly, however sometimes you need to look at the future and ask why?"Silver just looked her and shook his head, he didn't want to face another lecture from Blaze again, and sure she was his friend however she just didn't understand how he felt.

"I'm going to get some air" Silver quietly replied, then stood up and sulked off.

"Silver wai..." but she was too late as he picked up a pile of rubble and blocked the doorway he walked through. At these times Blaze just put her head back and hoped he didn't do anything reckless.

Room after room Silver looked into, he didn't need her help, he didn't need anybody's help. This again was a lie; For Silver needed Blaze as much as Blaze needed Silver.

"She is so stubborn sometimes" Silver stammered at himself "I swear if I ever meet anyone with a head as thick as hers I'll eat a plate of worms." He made this oath truthful and with vigor, truly believing Blaze the Cat was the pinnacle of stubbornness.

"Still though," he continued "I owe a lot to her, she is my only friend, even more so since she is a princess." These thoughts continued to spar, with no winning side in site, only to stutter as he noticed a faint yellow glow emitting from the remains of the door.

Something was behind that door and Silver wasn't going to go in without his friend, The Royal Princess Blaze the Cat.
