"Hey, Len," Rin whispered, tugging on to the said boy's tie. It was dark outside and late at night. She didn't want to wake her and her brother's parents.

"What?" He replied softly.

The girl hesitated a bit, doing things such as biting her lip and looking away before revealing her question: "Do you love me?"

Len shrugged his shoulders, moving closer toward his sister as he felt her pull at his tie even more. "Of course I do," he began, "but that depends on the type of love you are talking about."

"Types... of love?" Rin questioned, her head tilting to the side in confusion. "I didn't know that there was more than one kind."

"Of course there is," Len said. "There's friendship love, where you appreciate what people do for you." The boy scooted closer to his sister, their shoulders barely touching. "There is also family love, where you love for security and safety."

The girl continued to nod at his words as her brother explained, somehow fascinated by the fact that something so seemingly simple was actually so complicated enough to have different classifications in itself.

Len continued, his lips curling into a small but serious frown. "There's also selfish love, where you only love to gain what you want or need, and lustful love, where you only love for the pleasure it gives you." He let out an awkward laugh. "See? There are all these different kinds of love, good and bad."

Rin was not satisfied yet; she wanted to learn more. Len always seemed to be more knowledgeable than her. The older twin didn't mind it at all; she was quite used to it by now. She asked her brother, "Well, what about a type of love with every kind mixed together? Is there a type of love like that?" The girl finally let go of his tie, now gently grabbing for his hand and wrapping hers around his fingers tightly.

Len squeezed back in reply, nodding his head before answering another one of her questions. "Yeah, there is. It's called unconditional love." The boy spoke to the girl, filling her soul with information that seemed to just spill out of him; he was not sure where the words were coming from. All that he knew is that he was speaking truth. "This love is where no matter what they look like, no matter what happens to them, or no matter what they do, even if they make you mad or make you cry, you know you love them and always will love them. That's why it's called unconditional. There's no rules or terms and conditions to that love because it's just there to happen. It's almost unexplainable that way." The boy was somewhat in awe at the words that escaped from his mouth.

So was Rin. She stared at her brother, looking deep into the eyes that matched her own. She was unsure what to say at first, a long moment of silence filling the space between them before she took a shaky breath in. "Len," she suddenly began, "Do you love me unconditionally?" She was surprised at what had just escaped her lips as well.

Len smiled as he tightened his hold on her hand. "Yes," he told her. "I love you unconditionally, Rin. Don't worry," he laughed a bit, pulling the sister that he loved dearly into a hug.

With a sweet grin from the girl, she gladly hugged him back. "Good," she mumbled gently, sinking into the feeling of their warm, loving embrace.
