Chapter 1
"I have been waiting for this my. whole. life!"
"What? Going to school? I'd do anything to get out of it. Especially with-"
"LOOK OUT!"
"Wha- AAAHH!" Merida looked at her fallen friend. Rapunzel groaned and rubbed her head. Two boys ran over to them. Well, they looked like boys.
"I am so, so, so sorry!" The brunette said. Upon closer inspection, Merida could tell he and his friend were actually girls.
"It's okay...just a...a little bump...eheh..." Rapunzel giggled.
"We didn't even notice you...actually, I've never seen you," the white haired one spoke up, and pointed to Rapunzel, "before. New to Liberty High?"
Rapunzel nodded. The two girls smiled.
"Awesome! I'm Harriet Hannah Haddock III, but I go by Hiccup or Hicca. Junior. Captain of the school's Dragon Riders."
"Dragon Riders?"
Hicca nodded, "Fantasy game. We have a room that simulates what it'd be like to ride dragons. And everyone was pissed when I was the one who was able to capture, train, and befriend a Night Fury."
"Who you named Toothless. After your boyfriend. And my brother. I'm Jacklyn Overland Frost. Sophmore. Adoptive sister of Terrance "Toothless" Fury. Youngest member of the Guardians and captain of the hockey team. The boys hockey team."*
"Boys hockey? They let ye on?!"
Jacklyn smirked, "Shocking, isn't it. They wanted to get rid of me but after last season..." she winced, "they let me stay." Merida groan. There was an all boys archery team in Liberty High that would compete world wide, but the girls only ever competed nationally. She had been trying to get the girls team a spot on the world wide circuit, or at least, she had hoped she would have been accepted on the boys team. And now, Jacklyn was accepted into the boys hockey team?! That just wasn't fair! "Anyways, call me Jack."
"I'm Rapunzel. Do you know Merida?"
"Yep. Captain of the girls archery team. Junior. Hopes to get the girls team on the world wide circuit or be given a spot on the boys team."
Rapunzel nodded. She looked around. Everyone around them was staring. Whispers broke out.
"YO! MERIDA!" A blond yelled. She glared at het friend, "Why are you, with them?!" She marched over and dragged Merida away.
"Hicca!" A boy walked over to her, "Come on. You know the rules ..." Hicca groaned silently and followed the boy with dirty blond hair.
Rapunzel looked at Jack, "What was that about?"
"Things in Liberty High are always like this. You have the Jocks. The Nerds. The Populars. The Punks. The Cheer Leaders. And the Loners. Merida's a Jock. Hicca's a Nerd. And I'm a Loner. You. You're probably going to become a Popular. I'm warning you, if you want to make friends, they can't be from the other cliques. Trust me, Hicca and I get it hard enough for being friends and we've known each other since childhood. Good luck Punzie!" Jack waved to the blond and ran off.
Rapunzel repeated the nickname slowly. But she couldn't help but wonder why Jack said she was a Loner. She was a...Guardian? And on a sports team. Didn't that make her a Jock?
Kura: Review! Ah, High school... Gotta love it.
Sakura: *It was the first sport we thought of that Jack could join. And for those wondering, Merida will get her moment of glory!
