I used to think I didn't have a problem.
I'm not a pyromaniac, I told myself over and over again. There's nothing wrong with me.
Then Roxas came along. And set me on fire.
Again and again.
Night after night.
He drew me to him, at the expense of sounding cheesy, like a moth to a flame.
Every occasion we were together, he ignited the flame and we were both engulfed in it.
I didn't want to leave, but gently the wind would put out the fire, and I would come back the next night only to find the fire already ablaze in Roxas's eyes. He'd approach me as soon as I saw him, splaying his long fingers across my shoulders and gently pushing my coat down, his breath ghosting over every centimetre of bare skin as it was revealed.
I would reach out and pull him closer, kissing across his face, catching the fire in his eyes and letting it pervade my senses.
Fire so hot that it flickered in shades of blue and purple and made sweat roll down Roxas's brow and cheek and neck and chest and beyond.
It even filled the empty gap where my heart should have been with an indescribable warmth.
And one night, as we burned and melted, melding our bodies and our minds and our Lack of Hearts together, Roxas whispered through pants and moans, "You–are a pyro... maniac."
And I learned to accept it.
I'm on fire when you're near me,
I'm on firewhen you speak,
I'm on fire burning out these mysteries.
