Harry suddenly woke up upon hearing something in his room. He opened his eyes and could barely make out Ron's small owl flying around his room. He looked at the clock it read 3:49. He sat up; for once he had slept through the whole night before his birthday. Now that he was living with Sirius he could do his homework at any time, rather than at the Dursley's when he did it in the dead of night. Pig flew over to his bed. Harry untied the letter from Pig's leg, and he flew over and perched next to Hedwig, who was fast asleep.
The note from Ron read:
Harry,
Happy Birthday! I can't wait until you come tonight. Hermione is already here. Sorry I couldn't send your present; it was too big for Pig to carry. See you tonight!

He looked at the clock it was 3:53. Harry decided to go to sleep again. When he woke up again it was 9:42. He heard Sirius go downstairs. Harry decided to do a little more of his Potions essay, Snape really went overboard on the homework this year. A while later he heard a knock at the front door. He also heard Sirius answer it.
Meanwhile downstairs:
Sirius heard on knock at his and Harry's front door. After Peter was caught, his name was cleared. He got a house in Hogsmeade during Harry's 5th year and Harry came to live with him this summer. And he got up to answer the door.
