Hi everyone! Thanks for those reviews last time, and I decided to give you another extended/deleted scene! This scene takes place in the elevator down, something that just happened is that Percy could have been a god. Instead of the it just being silent down the elevator, Percy and Annabeth will have a little chat. Rated T because I'm paranoid. Something to drown out that Neil Diamond music, am I right? If you want an exact pinpoint on the time this takes place, Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Last Olympian page 360ish. This has got fluff! By the way.
Disclaimer: I do not own the Percy Jackson franchise. Nor will I ever...
Percy's POV:
The elevator ride down was silent for a little bit. We both leaned on different sides of the elevator. I just noticed how tired I was with everything... Then suddenly, Annabeth broke the silence.
"So... why?" She questioned. I had no idea what she was talking about... like, why what? There were a LOT of things she could say why about, not like I was in a sour mood, but for a child of Athena... alright, I'll stop. You thought I was serious!
"Why what?" I asked.
"Why as in, why didn't you become you know... a god?" She asked.
"Oh... um." I stammered. I went up to her real close and took her hand. Oh Romeo, tune it down!, You're probably saying. But I had to set things straight.
"There would be too many things to leave behind." I said. Then we both blushed.
I went away and returned to my original position and said "I... um... sorry."
She went up to me and put her hand on my shoulder. "Like, what kind of things?" She said.
We looked into each other's eyes... Oh, how cliche. I thought. But it really happened. Her eyes are so gray and startling. I liked them. Our faces were close to each other.
"Like, you." I said. We leaned in... and then... ding!
It was our floor. We quickly got away from each other while getting a questioning look from someone, but they quickly were distracted by something else. Whew. That could have been weird. Wait, it already was!
We walked out to find my mother and Paul yelling at the guy who manned the counter.
