Imra sighed laying down on a picnic blanket gazing up into the sky.
"Well someone's happy." Imra laughed and rolled onto her side amd looked over at Garth who was lying beside her.
"Well, thanks to you it's been a pretty good birthday." Imra shot her boyfriend a sweet smile. Garth had treated her with a day of duty with him and was ending it with a picnic in the park.
"Well, what can I say, I'm amazing." Imra rolled her eyes and moved over to give him a soft kiss.
"Thanks, really. Today's been perfect." he gave her a michevious smile,
"Well, I don't think we're done quite yet."
"What do you mean?" Garth stood up and reached out his hand to her,
"You'll see, come on, lets take a stroll." Imra smiled and grabbed his hand he pulled her up. The two walked hand in hand along a while before they turned down a private lane surrounded by trees who's leaves were in all ranges of yellow, orange and red. Imra sighed and reasted her head of Garth's shoulder. He chuckled and rested his head on hers.
"So whats the that one more thing that you were talking about?" Imra asked, giving into her curiosity, Garth chuckled again,
"You'll see, we'll get there soon enough."
They weren't walking for much longer when Garth stopped and took both of her hands in his,
"Ok, we're here, but before we go anywhere you have to close your eyes and keep them close till I say so. Promise?" Imra shot him a look but agreed to his terms and closed her eyes and put her hands over them so she wouldn't peek. Garth led her around teh corner of the lane a let go of her.
"Ok, you can open your eyes now."
"SURPRISE!" Imra gasped. Everyone from the Legion was standing in a clearing that was decorated in lit lanterns and party decoration, all wearing huge grins. Imra turned to Garth who had the biggest smile of them all,
"This was all you? he laughed,
"Imra Ardeen, you under estimate me too much, besides you deserve this."
"Sparky is right, for once." Imra turned again to face Tinya who had made her way towards the scoffed but Tinya just rolled her eyes,
"Can it Sparky, as I was saying, Imra you work hard so much all year, you deserve your own party." Imra blushed and Garth slid his arm around her waist.
"Come on, lets go get some cake before Chuck eats it all." Imra nodded and they joined the others and partyed the night away. Well, untill the Science Police came because of noise complaints.
