Total Drama Christmas
NOTE: This is actually a poem-story, so YES there will be major rhyming.
GEOFF'S POV
It was Christmas Eve
And we all gathered here
To catch up on old friends
And spread Christmas cheer
Everybody was having a blast
Telling stories
Remembering the past
There were tall Christmas trees
And lots of lighting
I couldn't believe
Gwen and Heather weren't fighting
All of a sudden
The power went out
Nobody could see a thing
So out with the lights
And in with the fights
All the joy seemed to
Leave with the power
We were stuck there inside for about an hour
When all of a sudden
Somebody shouted, "STOP!"
We all looked around
To see who it was
Then all of a sudden
A light emerged
From a corner of the room
The darkest one
We all turned that way
(Truthfully I couldn't believe what I saw that day)
It was a small girl
Short and thin
Long blonde hair that hit the floor
(By then I thought I had no mind anymore)
"What are you doing?"
She asked us all
"What happened to the happy bunch that I saw before?"
"Why are we fighting?"
"We don't need lighting or trees, or any of that
To have Christmas!"
Her eyes widened at that point
Blue ones looking sad
"Christmas is everybody rejoicing
The birth of our Savior!
Christmas is joy
Happiness
Friendship
Forgiving!"
"Call me wrong, but
I don't see any of that
Here."
"Where is the joy
The happiness
The friendship
And the forgiving?"
"It's Christmas Eve
For Pete's sake!"
"So please
Just for me
Stop fighting
Just this year?
We're all just one big family here!"
"You know
She's right!"
Somebody else said
A familiar voice
Everyone knew.
I smiled at the thought
That my girlfriend spoke up.
"We shouldn't be fighting!
At least not today!
Today is supposed to be
The happiest day!
At least for me
I remember
All those Christmases back home
With the presents
And the food
And all the hugs in the world!
Isn't Christmas always supposed to be like that?"
Bridgette protested with a gleam in her eye
"All who agree, please say 'I'!"
The room was silent for a moment
All thinking about what the two said
From the back of the room, an "I" popped up.
Trent's first "I"
Was followed by many
Nineteen more, including mine
I heard that girl again
She was next to Bridgette
"Thanks." She said.
"I'm glad you backed me up like that."
All of a sudden, the power went on!
Everybody cheered
The room was full of love again
Family-style cheer
The fights were off
The hugs were on
But I realized something
That girl was gone!
I searched the room all around
But she was nowhere to be found
I thought she was different
That small girl
But what happened next took my mind for a whirl.
A small breeze blew around me
"Merry Christmas Geoff."
It whispered to me
"God Bless You."
I recognized that voice
As the wind blew away
It was that small girl from before
I realized
That little girl was sent from above
The Spirit of Christmas
I'd heard about
Was actually a person
In the shape of a girl
I looked up to the sky, and smiled happily
Knowing who sent her
"Merry Christmas to you too."
