And an OC my fren Mel created, of courseXD So this little-maybe a three-shot?- is dedicated to her, cos its, well, HER oc:) ITS BEEN UPDATED COS I REALISED THAT THE STORY HAS BEEN TRAMAUTISING PEOPLE. SO ENJOY THIS UPDATED VERSION AS IT IS, BY FAR, EASIER TO ACCEPT. XD

DISCLAIMER: bleach and hisagi doesn't belong to me, reishiko belongs to mel, and the adapted plot belongs to me.

Hisagi Shuuhei- not just your everyday housewife

Hisagi was a happy man. He was ecstatic. He was elated. He was content, he was exultant. Even though he wasn't showing it, he was in high heaven.

Reishiko was moving to his house.

Her own had been destroyed. She won't be missing anything in her empty home, but she was still feeling pissed over how her house had been smashed to smithereens.

A tsunami had washed over it. And a volcanic eruption. Also, a tidal wave, a steamroller had flattened it, bombs had gone off inside, there had been a huge fire, an explosion.. her poor little house had been reduced to nothing more than mere dust.

Well actually, it had simply been a cute little Yachiru skipping into her house happily one day and causing utter choas. But I'm pretty sure you all agree with me that Yachiru entering a house would definitely have the same result as the above mentioned. -points up-

Thus, Reishiko had no choice but to accept Hisagi's ready offer with thanks. On one condition though. Fortunately for Reishiko, Hisagi had been too blissfully happy to take in what Reishiko had said.

"Sure, sure," Hisagi had replied non-concernedly when Reishiko stated her request. His insides were already doing the tango.

Unfortunately for Hisagi, the demand had been one he would never have accepted if he was listening properly.

And so she moved in. Reishiko was feeling pretty unimpressed with Hisagi's house, but relieved nonetheless that she would still have a place to sleep. And of course, the man himself was happily obilivious to everything else except the simple, delightful fact that Reishiko Mika was staying in his home.

Yes, he was happy. Very happy indeed.

But the very next day wasn't what you would call a very happy day at all. Not for poor Hisagi, that is.

"Here." Reishiko said, starting their first day of marriage by ceremoniously dumping Hisagi's and her dirty clothes into Hisagi's arms. "Time to fulfill your role as a good host." She grinned.

"..Ehh?"

"Wash them. Don't tell me you forgot?"

Hisagi racked his brains. Really, he did. "What the hell was I supposed to remember?"

"Your promise." Reishiko said, a touch too cheerfully.

"Promise? What promise? I certainly didn't remember saying anything about promising to wash clothes. Especially your clothes, since you have hands to wash them yourself." Hisagi said, getting a little irritated.

"Well, I'm sure washing clothes fall under the category of "Housework", Don't you think?" Reishiko said merrily.

"Well, sure it does, but I sure didn't say anything about doing housework." Hisagi replied. Then he froze. "Or did I?"

"Why, I suppose you did. Remember the day you forced me to stay in your home?" Reishiko said with a smile. An evil smile.

"But I didn't force you! You accepted!" Hisagi shot back indigantly. Then he thought back. Reishiko accepting his offer. Then her saying something else while he had been inwardly dancing with all the joy in the world. That must have been it.

"Crap."

"So now you remember?" Reishiko asked innocently, enjoying every moment.

Hisagi suddenly became a sad, sad man.

There it is. Hope you enjoyed that. And to all those hosts out there- I sympathize with you. Really, I do. I think. XD
