He and a passenger were waiting in a left-turn lane when a car hit them head-on. Bell's injuries are serious but not life-threatening... They include a fractured neck, a broken jaw, facial lacerations, and knocked-out teeth. He will reportedly undergo plastic and dental surgery soon. Bell was still in the process of shooting the fourth season of Drake and Josh.
Drake couldn't believe it. He survived a fatal car crash. He's healed from the scars he had gotten. He felt so lucky. I guess you never know how great your life is until its almost gone. Drake's life came flashing through his eyes. He really did feel lucky, so lucky he doesn't want to waste the second chance life thrown at him. He doesn't care what people say or think anymore. He just wants to be happy.
"Hey."
He looks toward his bedroom doorway to see his bestest friend leaning on the doorway, holding one of his smoothies.
Drake smiled. "Hey."
Josh walked over and sat on the edge of Drake's bed. He looked at Drake with concern.
"How are you feeling?"
Josh has been coming over everyday since his accident, giving him his smoothies, and doing nothing but worrying about him.
"Don't worry I'm gonna live." Drake replied.
"All my scars healed. I just have to stay in bed for a couple more days."
Josh smiled. "That's good."
A comfortable silence fell between them for a couple of minutes, until Drake broke it by saying.
"I realized something."
"Really? What?" Josh asked with curiosity and amusement.
Drake leaned in and gave Josh a short, sweet kiss.
When Drake pulled away Josh was staring at him with wide eyes, his face flustered.
"Drake?" He asked breathlessly.
"Your my second chance."
