Off To London
"Oh Jas-per!" A small, pixie-esk seventeen-year-old danced into the room, her designer gypsy skirt twisting around her as she spun.
The seventeen-year-old in question looked up warily from the thick, dusty book about the American Civil War, "Alice?" He humoured her.
Alice grinned impishly, "You know who much you love me?"
Jasper sighed and placed his book down on the desk, "What do you want?"
Alice clasped her hands in front of her, and traced a circle with the toe of her Manolo heels,. "Well," She drew out, "I really, really, really want to go to the London Fashion Show." She looked up at him, eyelashes fluttering, "Please say you'll come! I did ask Bella, only, her and Edward decided to conveniently disappear for the day."
Jasper sighed heavily, weighing his options. He could either stay at home for the weekend, enjoying reading his books about all things War, and messing around with his best mates Edward and Emmett, or he could go to London with his girlfriend of three years, spending God knows how much money on her, and hauling her shopping bags around from shop to shop 'til he begged her to stop. At which point, she would pout until he relented and continued to shop until the early hours of the morning....Only to have to go through the whole process again the next day.
He glanced at Alice, who was worrying her lip, looking like an innocent little girl asking her parents to buy her the new Barbie Animal Care Centre set for her birthday...six month early...
"Let me go back my bags," He sighed.
Alice squealed in delight, "Yay! Jasper, love you! And no need to pack, I've already done it for you."
He began to say something.
"As I have also phoned your parents – they told us to have a good time and that I should go easy on you." She cut in.
Jasper scoffed.
"Anyways, let's go! Let's go! This is going to be so much fun, I just know it!" Alice sang, pushing him lightly out of the house and into the passenger seat of her car. "My car, I drive." She told him as he went to protest.
Written for English Task: Write a conversation between two characters so their personalities are revealed.
Review? Even if it is to tell me that I should work more on my characterisations of the Twilight characters...
Note Dated Monday 24th November 2008: Hey! I got this piece back from marking today - I'm SO happy with my grade! I got an A!!! I actually squealed and done a happy-dance in my seat. The teacher said a lot of the class didn't understand the task, and I was SO scared that I was one of those people. But I wasn't, so YAY!!! XD
