Caroline opened her laptop and grinned.
"Okay, this is it. We've translated all the symbols on the tattoo." she said, reading the translation. "Passage inside... requires a young senator, and a pretty flower."
She looked at it irritated and confused.
"Okay, none of this makes sense!" she cried out aggravated.
Klaus started speaking Aramaic.
Caroline looked at him.
"Requires a powerful witch and a hunter in full bloom." Klaus translated in English, grinning at Caroline.
Tyler looked at Klaus, narrowing his eyes. "What are you doing?" he asked.
"I don't need to tell you my reasons. Caroline. Bring my sword over here." he smiled.
Caroline brought the sword close enough for Klaus to read the cryptex.
Klaus grinned at his sword and started reading. "Silas rests on the far side, the means of his destruction at hand."
He glances at the pictures of Jeremy's tattoo on the computer screen.
" Turn the cryptex to the right." he asks Caroline.
She does so.
"Stop." Klaus commanded. "The top of the hilt reveals a key to a nautical map. Turn it to the left."
She turns it.
"Now turn the other piece." he asked her; she does. "There's something else."
He switches to Aramaic and speaks the language aloud.
Tyler and Caroline both look at him clueless.
"What does it mean?" she asked Klaus.
Klaus smiles at her.
"Klaus, what does it mean?" Caroline asked impatiently.
Klaus held out his hand. "Let me see it up close..." he suggested.
She nodded and handed it to him.
Klaus smirked evilly and threw the sword in Tyler's direction, slicing his head off.
Caroline stared in horror as Tyler's head fell to the ground.
Blood seeped from Tyler's body and Caroline stared in shock.
The sword continued flying through the air and came towards Caroline.
She caught it just in front of her face and stared at Klaus.
"What did you just do?!" Caroline cried, throwing the sword down on the other side of the living room far away from Klaus.
"My apologies, Love." Klaus frowned. "But Tyler was getting too annoying for me to handle."
Caroline backed away from Tyler's body and walked around Tyler's head.
She looked over at Klaus angrily. "How could you?!" she cried.
Klaus shrugged.
Caroline didn't care anymore; she walked through the invisible force field that Bonnie had trapped him in and slapped him.
Klaus just smirked. "I'm sorry Caroline." he whispered.
She shook her head and started to cry.
He looked at her sadly. "Don't cry..."
She glared at him.
"Although you do look very lovely." he told her.
She blinked, just looking at him.
"I love you Caroline." he whispered. "I'm sorry I had to hurt you to tell you, but... I love you."
Caroline sighed and wiped her eyes, still ignoring him.
"I know you do..." she whispered. "But-"
Klaus kissed her. "I'm sorry Caroline... I'm the big bad wolf. I just can't help it."
