Wake Up Kiss.
Summary- From Kalli's point of view. When Steiner and
Sheera reanimated her.
First
there was nothing. Nada, nil, zilch, zip, naught, zero. Nothing. No feel, no
sound, no sight, no taste, no smell, and no thought.
Then
there was something. There was being of 'self'. Where there had been naught,
there was existence.
Then
there was thought. Who am I? What am I? Where am I? How am I? When did I come?
What is happening to me? Who am I? What does 'me' and 'I' mean? Why am I a
'she'?
Then
there was smell. Crisp crushed grass, pure clean air. A slight smell of sweat. And something that couldn't quite be
placed.
Then
there was taste. Saliva, and another something that couldn't quite be figured
out.
Then
there was sound. Crickets chirping, wind whistling. A worried (what was worry?)
female (what was female?) voice was asking, "What's the matter, bro?"
Then
there was touch. Clothes surrounded her body. A hat was warming her head. Grass
cushioned her back, neck, and legs. A warm hand held up her head. Lips were
pressed against hers.
Then
there was sight. Eyes were opened to see another face. The face's eyes were
closed. The face was kissing one's lips. The face was of a boy, young and nice
looking. The face stopped kissing leaned back and grinned at one.
"Hello,
I'm Adelbert Steiner. This is Sheera Steiner. What's your name?"
"What is name?" one asked.
Another
face came into view. It was female and some what like a rat's.
"A
name is how we can tell the difference between different people. I'm Sheera
Steiner. Who are you?"
"I
have no name." One stated.
Adelbert
Steiner gazed at one thoughtfully, "How does Kalli Steiner sound?"
One
frowned and thought. Kalli Steiner. "Meaning
energy stone? Or black goddess stone? Or time the destroyer stone?" one
asked.
Adelbert
Steiner grinned and laughed, "Meaning Black Goddess's Stone. What do you
think?"
Kalli
Steiner smiled and kissed Adelbert Steiner, "Kalli Steiner is now my name."
Sheera
Steiner laughed and playfully slapped Adelbert Steiner's shoulder. "Welcome to
the family, Kalli!" she crowed.
"Steiner"
Kalli Steiner added when she noticed Sheera Steiner wasn't going to.
"What?"
Then
there was life.
[A/N-
Okay, this deserves an explanation. My favorite FF9 character is Adelbert
Steiner. Because there are sooo little fics about his life before the
game(meaning none I could find), I decided to write some my self. This is just
the first one I got done. Kalli is a female Black Waltz(they call her a Black
Angel). Sheera is a native of Burcemia. Incase you're wondering this is suppose
to be first view from Kalli's point of view. Hence the reason it's so… weird.
If you ask nicely I'll hurry with the next story. I just can't guaranty which
ONE.
