I Lift My Hands- A Christmas Story

As I woke up, I could feel the sunshine on my face. I then knew that it would be a beautiful day today. Since I knew it would be a beautiful day, I will go out and visit my friends at AVALANCHE. After that, I will visit Zack at his house.

Before I left, Elmyra said, "Where are you going, sweetie?"

"I'm going to visit my friends at Seventh Heaven then my boyfriend, Zack. I know you don't like him, Elmyra, but I do. He can be really sweet and charming." I said.

"Okay, sweetheart. I'll see you later." She said. I nodded and waved goodbye. When I got to Seventh Heaven, everything for Christmas was already up.

As Barret saw me, he said, "Hey, Aerith! How you been?"

"I'm fine, Barret. Where's Marlene?"

"Hi, Aerith!" Marlene yelled to me.

"Hey, Marlene. Do you need any help here, Tifa?"

"No, we actually don't. Sorry, Aerith. Go see if Zack needs any help, will you? He should be at his house still." Tifa told me.

"Okay. I'll head over there now." I said. I left to go to Zack's house and when I got there, he was waiting for me. I smiled to him, and he did the same to me.

"Hey, girl. How you been?" Zack asked.

"I'm fine, Zack. Why can't I be at Seventh Heaven right now, Zack?" I asked

"It's something for you. That's all I know, okay? I know you know that I know more, but please don't ask me. It's a surprise. That's all I'm saying."

"Okay. I'll wait for later. What time are we going?"

"At 7:00 tonight. Is that fine with you?" He asked me.

"Yeah. I guess so. What should we do 'til then?"
"Let's go shopping for the others." Zack stated. I nodded and we went to Wall Market to shop for the others.

Once we got back from Wall Market, it was almost 7. So, we went to Seventh Heaven and I was surprised.

"MERRY CHRISTMAS, AERITH!" Everyone yelled to me. My mouth hung open in surprise.

"Thanks guys. *Sniffle* Merry Christmas to you guys, too. You didn't have to do this for me."

"Yeah, we did. You do so much for us, Aerith. It's fair this way." Cid said. I smiled and sniffled some more. I couldn't say anything else, it was so beautiful.
