Prologue

The famous Canadian lieutenant narrowed her blue green eyes as she stared at the old man in front of her.

"What makes you say that I won't catch her, Mr. Natsume Hyuuga? " The lieutenant asked confidently.

The man in front of her looked old, yet the beauty in his eyes and the gorgeous face that he possessed is still apparent despite the fact that it faded in time.

Natsume smirked as he closed his eyes.

"Because that woman, lieutenant, she's not human… "

"And what do you think she is? "

His smirk widened as he stared at her.

"What kind of creature will offer you fame in one sweep? " He retaliated coolly.

"I really don't know what you mean. "

"You're a Canadian lieutenant, you have faced a lot of these people, surely you know how they became famous. "

"Yes, and it happens to be a mixture of blood, sweat, tears and sex. "

He halfsmiled. "What do you think made the Beetles so famous? "

She glared at him. "I'm not a teenager, Mr. Hyuuga, if you think- "

Natsume just snorted cockily as he leaned on his reclining chair.

"Don't close your eyes to the truth, lieutenant, not every crime will be solved by science and critical thinking, hypothesis and experimentation. You may have all the latest gadgets and computers in the world, but let me tell you this… " He said as he looked at her with smoldering crimson eyes.

"Hell is willing to give people fame or vengeance…If and only if…those people are willing to give their souls in return. " He finished as he closed his eyes peacefully. "But I never regretted accepting such bargain. " He said as he opened his eyes with a smile and looked past her as if he saw something pleasant.

"And the moment she'll take my sixth picture, I will die, that will be my last picture, my last, my sixth photo… "
